Why do Data Sources have different amounts of historical data initially available?
When you first connect a Data Source in Lucrative.ai, we start collecting data from that Data Source’s API. The amount of historical data that’s available to sync with Lucrative.ai differs for each Data Source, depending on factors like how much historical data is accessible through the Data Source’s public API and any API limits that the Data Source may set to restrict how much data can be synced.
Date Ranges that are greyed out in the Date Range Picker are unavailable due to a lack of data for some or all of the Date Range.

How can I start syncing data for a Metric?
To start syncing data for a Metric (Basic, Calculated or Custom), the Metric must be used on either your Metrics screen, a Databoard, a Scorecard, a Goal, or an Alert.
Once the Metric is being used in your Account the maximum amount of historical data available from via the Data Source’s API will be synced with Lucrative.ai.
We’ll continuously sync data for your active Metrics and will store this data in our own database. This allows us to accumulate more data over time so that you can report on more data to the Metric in your Lucrative.ai reports in the future.
How is more historical data generated over time?
Once your Data Sources are connected and actively syncing data, we store the data that’s collected in our own database. This allows us to accumulate more data over time as more data syncs are made so that you can report on more historical data in your Lucrative.ai reports.
For example, let’s say you connected your Facebook Pages Account to Lucrative.ai on June 1st. Through the initial data sync, we can collect 2 months worth of historical data. This means that initially, we can access data for April, May and June 1st in Lucrative.ai. Date Ranges like Month to Date, Last Month, Last Week, etc. will populate with data on your Databoards. Date Ranges like Last Year, Last Quarter, Year to Date, This Year, etc. will populate with partial data or with no data on your Databoards.
Let’s say that a year passes and your Facebook Pages Data Source remains connected in your Lucrative.ai Account. Data has been syncing for a full year, so more historical data is now available. Date Ranges like Last Quarter, Year to Date, This Year, etc. will now populate with full data on your Databoards. A Date Range like Last Year will now populate with partial data on your Databoards.
